You will report to the Chief Technology Officer.

# Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain and support client facing applications
* Help mentor and lead a team of existing developers
* Participate in the full software development life-cycle: requirement gathering, architecting and design, coding, reviews, defect fixes, deployment and support
* Become domain expert to lead major feature development and critical projects

# Requirements
KEY SKILL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years Professional Development Experience
* BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths or software engineering related degree
* Expert knowledge on Java, Spring, JPA, JUnit, Tomcat...
* Expert knowledge on SQL Databases (PostgreSql, Oracle...)
* Strong Java design and development experience within a web services architecture
* Experience building and consuming JSON based RESTful web services
* Fluent on JavaScript / ES6, CSS3, and HTML5
* Good understanding of web technologies and networking principles
* Exceptional Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

* Experience in a fast paced rapid growth start-up
* Experience leading development projects with long-term impact
* Expert in programming in multiple languages including Javascript and Angular Framework
* Experience with Linux and shell scripting
* Expert in Amazon Web Services
* Experience dealing with large and complex datasets

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Ability to oversee projects with a group of junior developers
* Demonstrated leadership ability in a team environment
* A strong emphasis on listening skills - taking new ideas onboard, showing flexibility within a group dynamic and incorporating feedback into task planning
* An ability to recognise potential in junior developers and help develop their skillset and contribute to overall team development
