Compensation & Perks

‎The salary range of this role is £40,000 – £45,000 per annum depending on experience. ‎‎‎

About the role

This role will ideally fit candidates who want to play a key role in mitigating the risks of a fintech or credit product environment. A high level of technical skills in terms of programming, analytics and monitoring experience is required for this role.

About the culture

During your time at Tymit you will

  • Establish, support and maintain the 24/7 Cat A and Cat B services.
  • Work closely with Platform to compliment the technical monitoring.
  • Investigate opportunities in our monitoring environment to enhance incident/errors/problem detection for customer journeys using appropriate tools such as Kibana (ES) & Grafana.
  • Improve/enhance our alerting suite using your analytical skills.
  • Raise alarms/alerts to the wider team in case of any unusual/unexpected customer journey and work together with the developers to understand the root cause.
  • Understand the root cause of incidents.
  • Setup Alert manager, Kibana, Ops-Genie and other tools to notify team of an issue.
  • Initiate post-mortems for incidents.
  • Participate in five-way root analyses of incidents.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Guide/supervise team members with code-based enhancements and optimisations for automations.
  • Assisting operational side of the business with technical demands.
  • Collaborating with tech teams to create internal tools for Operations functions.
  • Assist customer services, risk and collections with complex ticket queries, fixing data integrity issues and bugs using SQL, Java & Python.
  • Raise bug tickets to backend/front end developers regarding product functionality errors/issues.

What you will bring along

  • 3+ years working in a similar role.
  • Advanced scripting in modern programming languages such as Phyton, Java, SQL etc., along with the ability and willingness to learn more advanced programming.
  • Experience working with data visualization tools to create meaningful dashboards.
  • Ability to pro-actively identify and recommend improvements and automations to processes.
  • Ability to easily learn and quickly become proficient with new tools.
  • Technical operations experience, including support and incident management, operations monitoring, process improvements, and metrics reporting.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues, you're a natural problem solver!

90 min. video-call with Fran, Platform Lead. Technical discussion around a task to better understand your skills and give you a sneak peek of what it could be working at Tymit. No need to do a technical test.

Stage 3

60 min. video-call with Lisa, Head of Product Operations and Backoffice. Introduction to your future team to get a sense of Tymit’s culture.
