CARA is seeking a Senior Organizational Change Management Lead consultant who will be responsible for leading a team in the development and execution of a change management strategy and approach that combines process design, change management, communications and instructional design talent. The team will support manufacturing and distribution sites through an SAP implementation for manufacturing and supply chain, shopfloor reconfiguration, and establishing operating excellence for manufacturing.

This position calls for a business-minded individual with exceptional consultative, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

We seek consultants with experience:

  • Leading change management for large SAP supply chain implementations focused on multiple sites.
  • Engaging leaders in operational excellence and best practices for manufacturing processes.
  • Managing physical reconfiguration of a manufacturing shopfloor.
  • Successfully managing multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interacting and collaborating with all levels of the organization
  • Providing impact assessments, change communications strategy, leadership alignment and engagement strategies, employee adoption and engagement plans, resistance management plans, sustainability plans and measurement strategies.
  • Navigating complex situations and developing clear points of view and recommendations.
  • Working confidently, independently, and collaboratively across all levels of the organization and directing client change management strategy and activities.

Requirements

  • Ability to lead an OCM team in the planning and execution of OCM related activities at a PROGRAM level through the development of a holistic change management strategy.
  • Experience managing physical reconfiguration of manufacturing plants.
  • Experience leading change and lean transformation/operational excellence sessions.
  • Prior experience with SAP specifically for supply chain.
  • Key activities within the change strategy may include impact assessments, change communications strategy, leadership alignment and engagement strategies, employee adoption and engagement plans, resistance management plans, sustainability plans and measurement strategies. Works confidently, independently, and collaboratively across all levels of the organization and directs client change management strategy and activities.
  • Lead the OCM workstream using project management tools and best practices. Facilitate communication between team members and client. Manage client reviews, raise, resolve, and document issues and lead risk mitigation efforts.
  • 10+ years in a change management capacity working within a Fortune 500 company; experience in global, complex organizations highly desired. Consultant should also have at least 5 years people/program experience specifically in OCM consulting.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Project Duration/ Location

  • 12 months, Partially remote with travel required to sites in Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri
