Salesforce.com is looking for an experienced Senior Product Analyst with an extensive background in building scalable and innovative solutions for human resources. This role is within the Business Technology (BT) organization and supports the Employee Success organization (HR) as well as Salesforce.com employees. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophy and strategy.

Responsibilities:
  • Work effectively with Employee Success program owners, BT engineering, and the application team to identify, document, and prioritize requirements for force.com systems
  • Write functional specifications for new functionality or make system changes
  • Partner with ES and BT teams to evaluate how best to use Salesforce.com technology to meet evolving business requirements and information needs
  • Ensure solutions promote simplification, accuracy and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users
  • Provide functional support during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Employee Success, BT, and other partners
  • Work with agile/scrum teams, write user-stories and ensure adherence to Acceptance Criteria
  • Coordinate, plan and lead UAT sessions for business stakeholders.
  • Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs
  • Support the implementation of change management activities by organizing UAT, authoring communications, creating training materials, and delivering training
  • Partner with Enterprise Operations to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users
  • Participate in Agile scrum team and be the subject matter expert
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree, with 2-4 years as an HR Product Analyst or similar function
  • Guide internal customers through the entire project lifecycle
  • Negotiate detailed requirement and solution design trade-offs
  • Contribute to cross-functional and cross-technical dependency management
  • Provide guidance to the portfolio roadmap for other teams/functions
  • Anticipate and communicate blockers, conflicts, and obstacles
  • Connect-the-dots between business strategies and project deliverables
  • Expert knowledge in business process analysis, requirements and design, data modeling, detailed functional design, test planning, and UAT execution
  • Change management skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation
  • Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change and deliver against tight deadlines
  • Willing to receive direction and guidance within a team environment, adopt and develop best practices and circumnavigate obstacles with creative technical solutions
  • Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability
  • Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams
