Senior Product Manager New Programs Education Remote, USA Create and manage programs that change lives. You’ll develop program concepts that promise specific career outcomes to a well-defined target audience. You’ll validate demand in both conversations with individuals and quantitative marketing tests. You’ll define the positioning for the program by speaking to what you heard on those calls using Thinkful’s unique advantages. Finally, you’ll spec the program itself using the engagement formats we’ve developed through our first five programs. In this role, you’ll both drive Thinkful’s growth, and be responsible for the life-changing promise of the programs you build. You sit at the intersection of growth and education. This role requires close collaboration with the marketing and growth departments, as well as the education operations team. You should be able to listen effectively, and speak and write persuasively. The company provides 1-on-1 learning through its network of industry experts, hiring partners, and online platform to deliver a structured and flexible education. Thinkful offers programs in software engineering, data science, and design, with in-person communities in up-and-coming tech hubs around the U.S. Responsibilities Own the P&L for programs you launch Validate new program concepts through quantitative market research and qualitative user research to demonstrate demand Design the program structure, using the engagement formats we’ve honed over years to architect an outstanding student experience Articulate a program’s target persona and the target outcome with a high degree of specificity Position the program effectively with writing that clearly describes the value proposition and advantages over alternatives Build partnerships with leaders in the industry both to verify employer demand and strengthen the program’s positioning Work with marketing to build distribution plan for each program. Done well, this should include channels unique to each program Work with education operations to deliver the program to your spec Requirements 5+ years product management experience Demonstrated success developing a compelling product roadmap, vision and business case, and executing delivery to market Highly organized with experience managing complex projects Ability to develop relevant domain-specific fluency at a fast pace Excel at taking a concept and validating demand through secondary market research, primary market research, user interviews, and more Highly analytical with business and product experience that demonstrates understanding of pricing, margins, and P&L fluency Fluent with marketing strategies Experience working cross-departmentally to build and deliver new programs Experience in adult education is a bonus Compensation and benefits Competitive base salary and significant equity Healthcare, dental, and vision insurance are 100% covered for individual and meaningfully covered for families 401k plan Unlimited vacation policy Learn to code with Thinkful courses and a Mentor Commuter Benefits Card via WageWorks Paid parental leave Thinkful can only hire candidates who are eligible to work in the United States.
