Closer helps couples build top 1% relationships. We’re pre-launch and looking for an experienced product manager—who is inspired to help people build truly thriving relationships—come help Closer build its MVP. 

What we believe: There isn’t a one-size-solution to help people have better relationships, but there is a process that can help any person understand themselves, their partner, and how to build the best life together. Taking the best learnings from relationship experts, behavior change, clinical studies and organizational models, we’ll help people operationalize living life on purpose, giving both support and accountability to empower couples to grow closer.

Who we’re looking for: You’re an experienced product manager who has full cycle experience, especially on mobile. You love the earliest days at a startup, feelin’ the more responsibility the better. You hate being micromanaged, you move quickly and you give a sh*t about the details. You’re genuinely interested in helping people go from good relationships to this-is-the-best-thing-that’s-ever-happened-to-me relationships, and you’re excited to test our product with real couples any chance you can get. You’re inspired by novel UX and extraordinary design. You know how to manage (and ideally hire) a technical team to bring products to life; bonus points if you’ve done this in a WFH/remote setting.

Phase 1 - Research

Phase 2 - Build quick and dirty no-code MVP

Phase 3 - Launch beta test and conduct user interviews 

Phase 4 - Build product

At first, you’ll work directly with the founder (serial entrepreneur whose first company was funded by Peter Thiel and whose most recent was featured on Shark Tank) and multiple EAs. Over time, you’ll help grow the team and manage designers, developers and other contractors needed to launch the MVP. 

We’re hiring on a project basis for the first phases, but if (when!) we love working together, we’ll convert the role to a founding team member post-launch.
