• *Job summary**

The Red Hat Management Business team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will help guide the definition and delivery of the Red Hat Platform Management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform. The Red Hat Platform Management SaaS platform enables the delivery of multiple services and offerings to our customers, while integrating those services into Red Hat's core operational capabilities and delivering value to our customers. You will focus on creating and integrating our SaaS capabilities across traditional data center and public cloud workloads to create a truly hybrid cloud experience. Working as part of a large cross-functional team, you will synthesize inputs from customers, layered product and field teams, competitive analysis, and market research to generate product roadmaps, plan portfolio integrations, lead release planning, and continually engage with the development to ensure successful releases of our offerings. You'll serve as a representative of the overall product team, encouraging confidence and excitement among our customers, internal stakeholders, and the broader product team. You'll also provide accountability and leadership within the cross-functional program team, making difficult decisions and delivering the best possible outcomes.

• *Primary job responsibilities**

+ Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap and delivery plan in support of solving market and customer problems

+ Prioritize technical activities of the product team; carry out feature and defect grooming processes

+ Be responsible for the overall business and execution aspects of a software delivery for product units

+ Work with other program stakeholders to track and coalesce customer feedback, market data, and competitive solutions to ensure a creation of a differentiating offering with a great market fit

+ Define market problems and opportunities and promote customer personas, user stories, and business cases

+ Review documents with and gain agreement among internal and external stakeholders

+ Collaborate to align strategic and tactical roadmaps with Red Hat's objectives, portfolio opportunities, and peer offering strategies

+ Create and deliver demonstrations of our offerings and roadmap briefings to a wide range of audiences across various forums

+ Work closely with the product marketing team to develop positioning and go-to-market strategies Serve as an evangelist to inform and educate the user community

+ Ensure cross-functional collaboration with engineering, support, documentation, marketing, and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and on budget

• *Required skills**

+ 4+ years of experience within product management, product marketing, program management, or development in the software industry

+ 3+ years of experience with the information technology (IT) Infrastructure software including Linux and other operating systems, virtualization, and container technologies

+ 3+ years of cooperating with larger enterprise customers from software development, service delivery, support delivery, product definition, project management, or technical sales fields

+ Ability to think strategically and tactically to deliver releases of our offerings on time

+ Proven record of the ability to persuade others without having direct authority over them

+ Ability to ensure team flexibility under changing conditions

+ Solid written and verbal communication skills with the ability to author blogs, develop and deliver presentations, and serve as a spokesperson for our offerings

+ Solid interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams and motivate others

+ Familiarity and previous participation with agile development processes is a plus

+ Pragmatic marketing certification is a plus
