Job summary
The Red Hat OpenShift Product Marketing team is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join us in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role, youll build and carry out go-to-market plans to help increase public awareness of Red Hat with developers. Youll define key use cases, track technology trends, and create engaging content that leads to better developer adoption of Red Hat OpenShift as the innovative container and Kubernetes platform. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, youll work closely with product management, technical and corporate marketing teams, services, and our field sales teams worldwide.

Primary job responsibilities
Develop messaging and positioning for the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform offerings
Build and carry out marketing plans to increase adoption of our platform
Create effective marketing content and collateral, including blog posts, whitepapers, presentations, case studies, videos, web content, data sheets, and sales kits in support of our marketing campaigns and demand generation efforts
Own and guide the launch strategies of our offerings with a cross-functional team; develop objectives and success metrics for the introductions of new offerings
Define sales enablement strategy for our sellers in the inside, field, technical, and partner-facing roles; develop and deliver sales enablement content and playbooks
Coordinate with strategic partners to align messaging and solutions; create materials that can be used by all relevant partners in their marketing efforts
Establish business value of our offerings and develop effective content to help our field service customers make their business cases
Gather competitive intelligence on our key competitors; develop differentiation materials for the field and for external consumption
Lead industry analyst and media briefings
Required skills
6+ years of product marketing experience
Solid background and knowledge in one or multiple areas of container and Kubernetes technologies, application development frameworks, platforms and tools, DevOps, and agile processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain and translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications
Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, marketing, business, economics, or a related area; MBA is a plus
Proven record in building of, getting agreement on, and delivery of marketing plans
Ability to stay focused and follow through on tasks in a fast-moving technical environment
Experience working effectively in a persuasion-driven, cross-functional environment
Experience with social media and digital marketing
