As a Senior Server Engineer at DECA Games, you will have the chance to work on some cool older titles and update them with best practices, new ideas, and changes to architecture. We want to bring your expertise and passion to our fun environment. In collaboration internal and globally distributed teams, you will drive game features from beginning to end.

Work Experience Requirements

• At least 3 years of gaming industry experience
• 5 years of server development

Skills Requirements

• Expert in Node.js, Golang, PHP or Java
• Extensive experience with LAMP, MEAN stacks
• Extensive experience with cloud architectures via AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Experience working with internal and externally developed, legacy code
• Ability to test before deploy and to utilize dev environment testing to help to minimize and fix issues
• Experience with Web Development frameworks (e.g. Angular/React) and HTML/CSS
• Experience with High-Load or Data-Intensive applications
• Experience with Containers(Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus
• Strong Documentation / Presentation / Communication skills
• Strong performance optimization experience
• Strong problem solving / debugging skills
• Ability to work unsupervised, but also to work in a team remotely,  assisting others in their work
