## We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help us scale Blanket Our mission is to automate personalized outreach. To help companies generate elegant one-to-one messages for every single one of their potential customers, at scale. Join us and play a crucial part in building a platform that some of the most respected companies use to increase their sales. ## What your day will look like You’ll be working closely with Ricardo (CTO), and J Ray (Senior Front-end Engineer) Here’s what your typical day would currently look like: Integrate with various APIs and third-party platforms  Collaborate with your teammates on software design and implementation  Help design and create a robust, scalable, and clean architecture that can handle large volumes of data  Constructively participate in code reviews  Collaborate with your teammates across departments  Own whatever comes your way and see it through to the end Our stack is Node, React, Postgres, Redis, GCP. ## Requirements 4+ years of professional software development experience with JavaScript, Node.js Experience with modern JavaScript and Node.js frameworks  Strong Computer Science background and understanding of algorithms and data structures  Experience with REST APIs Writing clean code, and testing it throughout the development process to ensure the quality is up to standards  Excellent communication skills  Experience with the Github development flow and code reviews  Experience working with relational databases  Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)  Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and deliver functional solutions Prior experience working remotely ## Preferred BS Computer Science or equivalent experience  Experience with tech startup environments  Experience with automated testing ## What we value We’re building a teammate-centric, and remote-first company that recruits the best talent regardless of location, background, or gender.We consider our work to be our craft.
