Snowdrop is an overdraft protection service. Americans pay $30bn per year in overdraft fees, the bulk of which is paid by the poor. Our software monitors our users’ bank accounts in real-time, and we offer them a small advance if their accounts get close to a negative balance, to help prevent them from being charged overdraft fees. Our mission is to give those $30bn back to bank customers while earning a small fraction of it as our revenue.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team.

The team is still small and the business is growing extremely fast. Because of that, we are looking for someone who has the ability to and gets excited by taking on wide responsibility across different parts of the system.

# Responsibilities
* Work closely with our CEO and the rest of the team on defining the product roadmap
* Take full ownership from idea to implementation of core components of our system
* Collaborate with our data scientists to develop data pipelines to extract insights
* Help the team define and improve engineering standards, processes, and tooling

# Requirements
* Experience as a software engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality code
* Working experience with Python and Javascript
* Experience with Docker, Flask, Django, PostgreSQL, Vue and system security is a plus
* Fast learner, and excited to work on products from idea to successful completion
* Experience working in a remote setting is a plus

$40-80,000 based on qualifications
