Job summary

Work directly with Red Hat's customers to understand their infrastructure, application, and business needs and then present them with the most appropriate solutions. The Red Hat Sales team is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to join our team in Germany. In this role, you will develop and conduct live demonstrations of Red Hat's solutions, educate customers on their solutions capabilities, and help with the design and development of larger, multi-product solutions. Youll need to be knowledgeable in this domain, having recent practical coding and architecture experience and excellent customer-facing skills.

Primary job responsibilities

Provide technical credibility to our customers as part of the Red Hat Sales team; master our core technologies to assist in the sales of our offerings

Identify the appropriate open source and partner technologies to solve our customers problems

Conduct architecture assessment sessions and workshops with our customers

Provide feedback to product management and engineering teams on the direction of our offerings and the customer applicability of features

Assist sales teams in answering technical questions in the form of requests for proposals (RFPs) and information (RFIs)

Form relationships with customer technical associates to identify new opportunities

Required skills

Work experience with open source offerings or projects

5+ years of experience working in an enterprise application architecture

Ability to engage in detailed conversations and impact customer decisions in architecture discussions

Deep understanding of multi-tiered architectures and microservices is a plus
