• Lead on-site and web based live training sessions
• Assist in creating on-demand LMS based training courses
• Work closely with other enablement team members to plan and execute high value enablement tracks
• Working cross-functionally with content developers, engineers, subject matter experts, and product management teams to facilitate the successful development training content and curriculum
• Be in a continuous learning mode to keep up to date with the latest innovations and then be able to then translate these back into our training curriculums
• Track and report on participation and achievement in training offerings, both live and on-demand
• Assist in development of technical training plans and on-boarding processes

• NoSQL experience, preferably Cassandra
• Technical Expertise with System Architecture and Design
• Proficiency with Application Architecture and Design
• Comfortable developing with 2 or more of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, NodeJS, C/C++, C#
• Deep Experience with UNIX/LINUX systems
• Past Experience with Technical Training
• Team Based Mentality

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Well organized and detailed oriented

• You work collaboratively with the technical enablement team to develop, enhance and update internal and partner training material
• You lead training session teaching the material and helping students succeed with DataStax Technology
• These sessions are a combination of live, web based and e-learning so you should be comfortable in all mediums
• You work closely cross functionally with sales, engineering, marketing and product management to ensure the content and training is relevant, students are getting what they need to be successful in their roles, and to integrate changes as both markets change, messages change, and our software is updated thus our technical message changes
• You will assume the role of a teacher, mentor, coach and technical leader while within this role
• How you lead and inspire, your imagination and vision for modern enablement, what you do individually and get others to do as a team these will be the differentiators in delivering great programs and resources to a demanding audience with high expectations
