Salesforce.com is looking for a motivated Senior Treasury Analyst / Manager to support the Global Treasury team with a primary focus on Investment Portfolio Management. The role will include a high level of involvement in the investments program (including investment management and asset allocation, compliance to investment policy, performance measurement, accounting and management reporting, SOX control compliance, investment manager and custody relationship management, and other activities), and participation in other capital markets initiatives (including cash forecasting, capital markets transactions, liquidity management, capital structure/allocation, and other related activities). The Senior Treasury Analyst / Manager will also work on projects to build out strategic infrastructure to help support Salesforce's growth.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Company's global investments program
• Optimize globally invested cash, considering capital preservation, liquidity and above benchmark returns
• Evaluate investment portfolio holdings and returns to make recommendations to management
• Analyze and advise on portfolio structure and risk including duration, interest rate and credit risk, and security allocation
• Review and analyze transactions, identify and measure impact on portfolio risk
• Assist in developing in-house investment management strategy and program
• Support operational excellence of investments program
• Work with Accounting team to ensure the general ledger is updated timely with proper accounting for investments and other related transactions
• Investment portfolio accounting and regulatory compliance: prepare month end journal entries, draft 10Q and 10K schedules, audit schedules, quarterly compliance reporting, year-end tax reports
• Prepare investments and capital markets management reporting and presentations
• Forecast interest income
• Assist in compliance with regulatory requirements and SOX controls; maintain records and provide test data as requested
• Keep on top of current market trends and industry developments to help Company navigate dynamic investments and capital markets landscape
• Participation in projects with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Tax, FP&A, and other finance and legal functions that impact global investments program
• Work on strategic projects to build out investments and capital markets infrastructure, using various internal and external systems
• Implement best practices and drive process improvement
• Handle ad-hoc Treasury projects and presentations for Treasury and Senior Management

Required Qualifications / Skills:

• 4+ years of related finance work experience; 2+ years of Treasury or Investments related work
• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in a related field
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Clearwater Analytics, Bloomberg.
• Comfortable using Oracle/Hyperion/Smartview or related financial planning systems
• Strong understanding of global investments landscape, capital markets and corporate finance
• Strong knowledge of investments related accounting (ASC 320, ASC 820, etc.)
• Excellent work ethic - enthusiastic, self-starter
• Superb analytical/modeling skills and attention to detail
• Resourceful, creative problem solver with a "can-do" attitude
• Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation skills
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced/deadline oriented environment
• Team player
• Ability to work independently

Experience / Skills Desired:

• CPA/CFA designations are a plus
• Master's Degree, or equivalent, in a related field
• Multi-national experience is highly desirable
• Strong desire to develop professional skill set and advance career
