The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a Services Sales Account Manager to join us in Mumbai, India. In this role, you will work closely with the enterprise and partner sales managers and a team of sales representatives to promote business development activities for the Red Hat Consulting Services team. You'll work on presales project delivery activities, including leading sales cycles while collaborating with services managers on project approach documents, proposals, and statements of work, including business and technical requirements, appropriate solutions, schedules, delivery times, and costs. You will also work with Red Hat’s sales representatives to guide consulting sales opportunities from the prospecting, qualification stage to closing.


  • Grow services business for an assigned set of accounts through the development of internal business partnerships with the enterprise and partner sales teams
  • Streamline the services sales process through repeatable assets and approaches, while participating in high-value custom projects and proposals
  • Participate in pipeline-building and forecasting activities
  • Achieve booking goals across all practices
  • Develop and deploy services sales strategy for the sales team

  • 10+ years of experience and demonstrated expertise supporting the sales of professional services and creating SOWs, pricing strategies, large-scale proposals, and customer development plans
  • Experience working in a customer-facing position in a professional services sales field
  • Understanding of Red Hat's solutions and offerings
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with enterprise and partner sales managers and their sales teams, as well as with the C-level customers
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Sales experience in the financial industry is a plus
