Job Title: Systems Engineer, Site Reliability

Description:
Salesforce is seeking an engineering candidate to join the Site Reliability organization in our Dublin location. Working closely with our counterparts in the Infrastructure and R&D organizations, this organization provides a global team of engineers monitoring cloud service availability and ready to quickly detect, diagnose and resolve incidents that impact our substrate infrastructure. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for incident prevention through monitoring, automation, self-healing and resiliency initiatives, destructive testing and game day exercises. The incumbent in this role would demonstrate strong focus on tactical operations, as well as large-scale production engineering and orchestration.
Seven days a week, 24 hours a day, in a follow-the-sun model, the Site Reliability team keeps the Salesforce cloud and our customers protected. When things break (in a complex environment, failure is expected), our team’s tools enable early detection, automated probable root cause identification, rapid resolution and world-class transparency. This position will cover 4x10 hour shifts per week, including weekend work.
