Site Reliability Engineer

Now we're looking to hire a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team to develop and improve our product and service lineup.

Responsibilities
  • Actively troubleshoot any issues
  • Automate operational processes in compliance with our security requirements
  • Configure build and release pipelines for applications
  • Create and maintain tools and solutions related to the deployment and operation platform
  • Design and maintain solutions for operational administration, system / data backup, disaster recovery and security performance monitoring of AWS environments
  • Establish the best practices of DevOps Engineering
  • Update processes and design new processes as needed
  • Work effectively as a member of an agile team

Job requirements

Soft skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication (verbal and written)
  • Professionalism of doing it the right way, all the time, every time
  • Motivation for continual self-improvement
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to track and complete numerous details
  • Ability to embrace a fast paced and always-changing environment

Hard skills (we don't expect you to master all of those, but we think you might be curious)
  • Excellent knowledge in AWS services
  • Excellent knowledge of Terraform, Ansible
  • Excellent knowledge of Kubernetes including Istio and Kiali, Prometheus and Grafana, OpenTracing and Jaeger
  • Expertise in CI/CD including Teamcity, Gitops and ArgoCD
  • Expertise in setting up, configuring, maintaining (backup/restore procedures, scaling) of MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Memcached
  • Expertise in Nginx, Varnish, uWSGI
  • Expertise in Python, Node.js, Bash
