Small Business Bookkeeper Who We Are: We are a small, but rapidly growing, CPA firm that has an eye for the future. We are a traditional firm that has gone through massive changes and innovation over the past few years. But our work is not done yet and we are continuing to make changes as we are growing to be a virtual firm. Our managing principal, Michael, is super active and a thought leader in the profession. He has HUGE plans to morph our firm into the greatest CPA firm in the country. Commitment: our team cares deeply for our customers and is dedicated to serving them. The Position: Part-time small business bookkeeping and payroll processing. We are looking to add someone with bookkeeping and payroll processing skills to our team. Our firm provides comprehensive accounting and tax services to clients in a variety of industries and we have a current need to add a team member who can do bookkeeping and process payroll. This is a part time and super flexible position that has the opportunity to grow into a full time role for the right candidate. The Perks of Working on our team: You set your own hours! We have a strong support staff to serve our CPA/accounting team, including a chief operating officer and admin staff. We already have systems and processes in place for our team members working remotely since several of our team members currently work remotely. You will work remotely while maintaining ongoing communication with the rest of the team. You will set your owns hours and schedule while still remaining accessible to our customers. Logistics: You will be compensated on an hourly basis based on the work completed. You will be expected to be flexible as customer demands ebb-and-flow. We expect this position to be somewhere between 10-20 hours per week initially. You will set your own hours and complete projects as customer demand dictates. (Within reason and in accordance with deadlines) We will have at least weekly meetings virtually with pertinent members of the team to go over issues and concerns. You will be expect to have high speed internet, fast computer and at a minimum 2 monitors (and yes we will confirm all these!)
