Mission

We are looking for an enthusiastic student or graduate with exposure to digital channels and ideally some experience with social media, copywriting and community management. Working across a range of clients in varying capacities, the focus of this role will include Facebook and Instagram community management, with the opportunity of also supporting with social media content and scheduling management.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional time management skills, be an excellent communicator and thrive in a fast-paced environment. We're seeking a reliable team player with the ability to work autonomously when needed and they must have a keen eye for detail. Reporting to the Social Media Department Manager, you will be a key player in the Social team.

This is a casual position with a requirement of 4 – 9 hours per weekend, split over both Saturday and Sunday, with additional hours over peak retail periods like Christmas and Easter. It's the ideal opportunity for a Marketing student passionate about Social Media and interested in gaining professional experience. For the right candidate, there are progression opportunities and the possibility of moving into full-time work post-graduation. This is a remote working role, although we are considering Australian residents only.

Responsibilities

  • Community management of social media and third-party channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and productreview.com.au
  • Management of social media content calendar, copywriting and scheduling across multiple platforms with accuracy
  • Actively stay up to date with new social media content trends and platform updates
  • Actively manage client expectations
  • General office admin duties

Skills and qualifications

  • Marketing, Communications and/or Social Media university student or graduate
  • Experience in customer service in a retail environment
  • Advanced knowledge of key social media platforms: Facebook & Instagram.
  • Experience with third-party social media scheduling and analytical tools.
  • Strong copywriting and analytical skills
  • Experience with MS Office suite & Google Analytics
  • Applicants must be permitted to work permanently in Australia with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)
