Social Media Manager
TrendSpider is a high-end software application sold to professional/retail traders and investors to help them improve their market analysis. It comprises several subsystems: a market scanner, a charting and analysis platform, an automation layer, a backtesting engine, and an alerting system. These tools work together to reduce the amount of grunt work that human traders have to do, and thus saving them time, making them more efficient and improving their trading performance.
TrendSpider is seeking an experienced Social Media Manager / Marketing Creative to manage TrendSpider’s social media channels, aid in creative building (market meme’s, infographics, general content) as well as contribute to the marketing team in various capacities.

Requirements
- Experience managing social media accounts, structuring and organizing content
- Experience with social media tools / analytic reporting
- Preferred creative experience and knowledge of tools (Photoshop, Premiere, Figma)
- Experience running social media giveaways
- Understanding and working knowledge of social media trends and best practices
- Friendly, outgoing, upbeat, personality
- Ability to work independently and a desire to stay busy
- Strong on verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of technical trading concepts
- Strong computer skills

- Team management experience
- Active in trading community (Fintwit, Stocktwits, Youtube, Newsletter, Blogs)
- Passion for trading/learning financial markets
- Experience executing marketing campaigns
- Video production experience
Responsibilities
- Build / structure day to day content for TrendSpider’s social media channels
- Build creative story, infographic, and promotional material to run on social media
- Manage direct messages, comment interactions for TrendSpider’s social media channels (Agorapulse)
- Run social media giveaways to build following, email list, SMS list
- Build timeless promotional material for social media
- Work with Evangelist team to create interesting infographics
- Create still and video market memes for relevant market topics
- Manage the growth and prosperity of TrendSpider social media channels
- Interact with community, retweet partners, comment on relevant topics
- Report monthly on growth and areas of improvement
Compensation
- 40-60K year base salary based on experience
- 40 hours per week / full time
