We are looking for a highly self-motivated, experienced, software developer to join our development team to work on our Kubernetes based offerings. RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with upstream community to improve the dashboard and CLIs. Enhance the registry images. Develop notary images. Enable service mesh. Enable flex volumes and enhance Oracle Cloud integration. Develop and enhance ARM support. Push bug fixes upstream. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: BS degree in CS, EE, or equivalent Strong technical background in Linux, Virtualization and Cloud and Containers Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Experience working with open source projects is a big plus 5+ years of software development/system programming experience Languages: Python, Go, C, shell Operating Systems: Linux (administration, services, networking, storage, user) Tools: Git Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills As part of Oracle’s employment process candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process, prior to an offer being made.
