The Red Hat DevOps team is looking for a Software Engineer to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be responsible for testing and automating applications and tools used by our Release Engineering team. You'll need to have excellent automation technical skills and the ability to adapt to a growing and evolving team. As a Software Engineer, you'll also need to be flexible and motivated with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.

• Create automated tests, tools, and services
• Create and maintain test plans, write test cases, and test bugs and bug reproductions
• Review functional specifications and release workflows and test cases to understand the functional and technical requirements
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts and automation tools
• Participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of the test automation model

• Solid knowledge of and experience with Python
• Expert practical knowledge of the Linux operating system
• Expert practical knowledge of testing frameworks
  Interest in testing and investigating how things work internally
• Ability to coordinate and help others solve difficult problems
• Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience with automation web application testing and automation testing tools is a plus
