Emptor SE III - Lead of the API team
Emptor is looking for a Software Engineer III to lead our API team. You will be collaborating with other software developers to maintain architectural vision and API quality. You will be part of an exceptional team of engineers where collaboration is highly valued, where innovation is something that happens every day and where taking risks is encouraged. You will face unique challenges and build deep expertise. You will have the opportunity to be part of one of the fastest growing, customer driven, and innovative company in the Latin American market as well as work with team members to identify areas for learning and helping them grow in these areas via project work, external learning, or additional mentoring.

Remote - Global team, 8:00 AM UTC-5 to 8:00 PM UTC-5
 
Requirements
-Willing to work around the Americas time zones.
-A minimum of 3-5 years experience building and shipping high quality code.
-Fluency in the Python programming language.
-Strong background in computer science fundamentals.
-Previous hands-on experience with AWS DynamoDB, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions.
-Experience with designing, implementing, and deploying API features.
-Proven experience as a team lead or project manager.
-Mentoring abilities.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
