The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will be involved in improving the development process and infrastructure testing. You will also actively develop features for new image building technology. You will need to have knowledge of web APIs like React and of Python, Jira, Bugzilla, or similar technologies. As an Associate Software Engineer, you should value open culture and open source, thrive on taking on new challenges, enjoy working as part of a fast-moving team, and have initiative to identify and solve problems.

• Create report programs and process updates on a fixed deadline
• Perform preliminary data analyses to find issues or areas of concern
• Cooperate with process experts who manage requirements
• Assist with program level investigations to find trends and other indications of concern
• Automate correlation of data between tools

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and on a deadline
• Solid understanding of web APIs
• Intermediate knowledge of Python
• Excellent English language skills
• Experience working with associates of varying degrees of technical ability
• Working knowledge of Jira and Bugzilla is a plus
