Red Hat’s Engineering team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to join our NooBaa team in Givatayim, Israel. In this role, you will collaborate with engineers around the globe, working to support and extend the capabilities of NooBaa, a data services platform providing hybrid and multi-cloud capabilities for object storage flows. Your role will include design and implementation of new capabilities and features (such as data placement policies, federation capabilities etc.), fault-isolation and support for systems in the field while maintaining ease of use and the best user experience. You will also be responsible and involved with an open source community to deliver enterprise-quality software in an open source project.

• Develop and Implement features and fixes in the NooBaa data platform handling hybrid and multi-cloud data flows using Node.JS and NoSQL technology stack.
• Develop and Implement integrations and enhancements to kubernetes deployments.
• Maintain an active role in NooBaa and related open source communities

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or demonstrated equivalent experience
• 2 years of system software development experience
• BE technologies development skills (C++ / Java / Node.JS etc.)
• Worked on enterprise targeted products,
• Experience with High Scale Systems
• Experience working on distributed systems.
• Experience dealing with scaling issues and distributed design
• Familiarity with the correct and efficient serialization of multi-threaded code
• Experience working on a storage product is a plus
