The Red Hat Quality Engineering (QE) team is looking for a graduate to join us as an Intern in Pune, India. In this role, you will search for, analyze, report, and track defects, as well as verify bug fixes in an assigned Red Hat’s solution. You'll also develop test scripts, carry out test cases, and debug software problems.

• Research functionality of the assigned offering
• Develop test scripts for automated testing
• Run manual tests and carry out automated test cases
• Debug software problems
• Perform maintenance of automated test tools

• Background in Linux
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
• Basic shell and bash scripting skills
• Python or C programming skills and clear understanding of the object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts
• Decent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to a growing and ever-evolving team
• Passion for testing and learning how things work
• Experience working with upstream projects is a big plus
