As a Solution Engineer specialized in B2B Marketing, your focus will be marketing automation solutions for customers powered by Salesforce Pardot. Your solutions will empower marketing and sales teams at small businesses across the US & Canada to find and nurture leads, close more deals, and maximize return on marketing investments. You will develop a proactive strategy to engage high value current customers in addition to selling to prospects in order to create customer success and drive revenue growth. You will partner with Pardot Account Executives They will work in partnership with the existing Account owners.

What is a Solution Engineer?

Also known as a \"Pre-Sales Engineer\" or \"Sales Consultant,\" Solution Engineers are responsible for developing business solutions to customer challenges, presenting demonstrations, and building trust in Salesforce products and architecture and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

You will work closely with current customers and some prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will consult with marketing and sales to demonstrate the value of Pardot and the impact the product will have on their business.

You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

Responsibilities Include:

- Understand the customer's needs, and establish Salesforce's product as the best solution that solves the customer's challenges

- Build and present customized demos of Salesforce B2B Marketing products

- Convey deep understanding of the customer's technology as it pertains to Salesforce's solutions

- Introduce third party partners to the customer for implementation support

- Build out ROI based on the customers metrics for the value impact of Pardot

- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural trainings and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position

- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management

- Respond effectively to RFPs

- Ability to travel based on territory alignment and region

Minimum Qualifications:

- Salesforce Pardot Certified Consultant

- Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology

- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments

- Conceptual thinking, curiosity

- Collaborative spirit, finds energy in working with others

- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment

- Ability to quickly learn and retain information on products

- Effective time management

- Effective and dynamic communication skills, verbally and in writing

- Drive for results, demonstrates high degree of drive and determination

- Adaptive and flexible to changing technologies, process and environments

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a solution/sales engineer for a CRM company or similar technology

- Basic programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies

- B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
