THE OPPORTUNITY

There has never been a more exciting time to join Zenreach! We are building out our marketing team and are looking for a Sr. Copywriter to create concepts and write clear, colorful, and engaging copy for marketing content of all kinds. You will be responsible for delivering engagement and understanding to Zenreach customers, partners, employees, and prospects.

In this role you are both a conceptual and a strategic thinker helping to establish the Zenreach tone and voice. That means coming up with brilliant ideas, but also understanding that what makes them truly brilliant is that they solve real business problems. You thrive in a fluid environment. Since many of our lead gen clients are marketers, we’re looking for a copywriter with a strong understanding of basic marketing principles who takes pride in turning more complex subjects into digestible, value-driven copy. As a marketing technology company, inherent interest in digital and tech will give you a leg up against other candidates. We need someone who isn’t going to shy away from the technical details, but instead leans in to understand them and leverages their craft to make content simple and appealing.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write engaging copy in a conversational, colorful and distinctive style for complete range of marketing content: website, collateral, guides, white papers, advertising, newsletters, articles, etc.
  • Collaborate with design to ensure high quality work across art and copy
  • Assist in defining and mastering our brand tone and voice, and ensure it comes through in all our communication.
  • Understand advertising craft, and write sharp, smart headlines.
  • Attend necessary briefings, meetings, and presentations; ask hard questions.
  • Manage multiple projects, and work with others to meet deadlines.
  • Learn our products, customer use cases and competitors in order to create insightful content that has value.
  • Make sure everything we publish is well-written, organized and free of typos and grammatical errors.


REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience writing for B2B audiences a plus
  • A solid understanding of technology and marketing solutions
  • You have expert proofreading skills: spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Patient and infectious positive attitude
  • You have the ability to handle feedback and edits with grace
  • You are outgoing and team oriented
  • B.A. in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
  • 5-7 years experience writing marketing copy for a broad range of content types.
  • Tech experience helps, but isn’t required.
