Ready to find your #dreamjob?About this position:The Finance & Strategy (F&S) organization is looking for a Senior Director to lead our Global G&A Finance team. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Corporate and Operations Finance & Strategy, and will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting and management reporting processes for all of Salesforce's G&A functions. This is a high profile role whose primary responsibility is to be the trusted advisor for the Executive's leading each of the G&A functions, including our Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief People Officer (CPO), Chief Legal Officer (CLO), Head of Real Estate, Chief Information Officer (CIO), and others. This person will also drive streamlined reporting and ad hoc analysis to provide greater insights impacting our internal/external stakeholders and our Board of Directors. This role will initially manage a global team of ~20 full time employees.Responsibilities:

+ + Lead F&S support for all G&A functions - building strong relationships across those organizations

+ Manage budgeting and financial planning for all G&A functions, including annual planning, quarterly outlooks and month end processes

+ Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, distilling/synthesizing key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating key messages to senior management

+ Continue to evolve the Long Range Planning (LRP) models and processes for G&A functions

+ Lead cross functional teams, partnering with Technical Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Legal, Corporate Development and your G&A business partners to deliver financial insights to help drive strategic decision making

+ Analyze potential real estate investment opportunities and incorporate key insights from cross functional teams to ensure the impact on the Company's financial statements is appropriately assessed

+ Provide financial insights to G&A leaders as they build out and implement their global workforce plan strategies

+ Lead the annual and quarterly headcount planning process for the F&S and Recruiting organizations, ensuring clear communications around timelines, gross hiring targets and recruiting capacity

+ Manage the annual and quarterly Capex forecasting process, including coordinating with F&S functional teams and socialization of forecast and actuals with senior finance leadership

+ Manage budgeting and financial planning for the global employee benefits and payroll taxes budget, including annual planning, quarterly outlooks, month end reporting and ad hoc analysis

Required Skills/Experience:

+ + Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics or related relevant areas

+ 10+ years of related experience, preferably in a leadership role within a Finance organization

+ Experience leading teams, serving as a mentor and coach to employees. Leading geographical dispersed teams is a plus

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)

+ Ability to break down complex ideas and issues and communicate in simple terms to different levels of the organization

+ Ability to drive alignment on priorities with senior management

+ Experience working in a fast paced environment

+ Strong understanding of US GAAP

+ Experience and understanding of the SaaS business model

Desired Skills/Experience:

+ + MBA or CPA preferred

+ Ability to influence at all levels of an organization

+ Relevant Experience in areas including: employee benefits and payroll taxes, real estate accounting, project management and headcount planning
