Salesforce is looking for an experienced Workday Configuration specialist with a background in building and leveraging scalable and innovative enterprise-level processes and Payroll applicant tracking systems for a Global company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Workday solution, including Workday Core HCM, Payroll, Compensation. This role is within the Information Technology (IT) organization and supports the Employee Success and Payroll organizations as well as employees. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophy and strategy.Responsibilities:

+ Work effectively with the Workday application team in IT to identify, document, and prioritize requirements from Employee Success, Core HCM and Payroll.

+ Write Configuration specifications for new functionality and make system changes on HR applications

+ Ensure solutions promote simplification, accuracy, and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users

+ Provide functional support during technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Employee Success, Payroll, IT, and other partners

+ Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and execute testing in support of system and user acceptance testing

+ Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs

+ Support the implementation of change management activities by organizing UAT, authoring communications, creating training materials, and delivering appropriate training

+ Provide HR systems documentation to broader team for support activities (data feed documentation, etc.)

+ Partner with the support organization to provide training, support and technical assistance to end users

+ Assist in managing daily transaction activity in HRMS, support HR interfaces/integrations and ensure data integrity between systems.

+ Participate in Agile scrum team, responsible as configuration analyst and central subject matter expert

+ Data analysis and trending of support queue as well as identifying core HR data discrepancies for resolution

Required Skills

+ Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years as an HR Systems Analyst, Functional Analyst, Configuration Analyst or similar function

+ 3+ years of Workday systems experience

+ 3+ years' experience as a configuration analyst in any HCM applications such as Workday in any of the following areas: Core HR, Payroll, Absence Management, Compensation, Core HR, Workday Integrations

+ 1+ years professional experience using Workday HCM, Payroll and knowledge of integration points to and from

+ Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly and enjoy doing soExperience writing SQL or WSQL queries for data analysis, validation, and/or reconciliation

+ Strong bias for action with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Skills/Experience:

+ Workday Certifications or Workday Pro Certification preferred

+ Big 5 Workday Consulting experience preferred

+ Configuration, implementation and support experience with Workday (HCM, Time & Absence, Compensation, Benefits)

+ Experience preparing and guiding business partners through UAT testing

+ Experience with Use Case modeling and AGILE development methodology, Kanban

+ Experience with the platform and related cloud or web based technologies
