Salesforce is seeking a highly consultative Talent Development Program Manager to build development and talent management practices that enable our managers to grow, develop and contribute to organizational success globally. You will be responsible for designing and executing scalable strategies to create high performing teams. Your are an expert practitioner with the ability to assess and diagnose organizational needs, create and deliver talent development experiences, and partner with the global employee success team and/or vendors to deliver solutions.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in all stages of talent management, demonstrate excellent business acumen, drive end to end execution and demonstrate business impact. The ability to manage and coordinate large-scale training programs and design evaluation strategies that link clearly to business drivers is critical. Success in this role will involve partnering closely with our leaders, HR Business Partners, global learning teams and our HR Analytics team.You will have the opportunity to make a huge impact by establishing and enhancing the global talent development agenda, partnering with business leaders, and therefore doing your bit to ensure Salesforce continues to be a career destination for exceptional talent.Primary Responsibilities:

+ Work with key regional business leaders to identify critical functional, leadership and talent gaps in their organizations. Liaise, as appropriate, with the regional and global Talent Development organization to ensure that these gaps are addressed and closed.

+ Be a subject matter expert on talent management; contributing to the vision, program management, and innovative programs that will enable the identification, development and growth of Salesforce's manager population

+ Own and embed a new manager transition framework throughout the talent life-cycle

+ Curate and centralize scalable approaches to talent assessment for talent pool selection and promotion readiness

+ Work with analytics and broader talent development teams to determine appropriate talent metrics to measure progress and impact of programs

+ Manage programs end-to-end; create clear program vision, plan, timeline, stakeholder maps, communications plan and enablement of partners

+ Bring thought leadership and innovation: you will develop sustainable and scalable solutions to significant, complex, long-term challenges facing Salesforce.

Role Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree required and/or equivalent experience

+ 5 to 7 years extensive talent management experience working with executives at senior levels: someone who's 'been there and done that' who can adapt what they've done before to create an exciting development agenda the Salesforce way.

+ Exceptional program management skills, with experience launching programs in a global setting, within a matrix environment

+ Seasoned facilitator/trainer, skilled at collaborating with, and engaging others

+ Experience working with (and adapting) Workday or another Talent Management solution

+ Strong coaching and interpersonal skills

+ Engaging, creative, energetic and fun

+ Prepared to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to deliver for the business

+ Excellent communicator with the ability to influence throughout the organization regardless of level or role

Travel Requirements:

+ Domestic and International Travel required 20% of the time.
