Job Description We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee projects from conceptual design through implementation. We are actively seeking a talented and experienced technical project manager to oversee a moonshot project from conceptual design through implementation. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a cross-functional team to develop an innovative generative design tool for the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, & Construction) industry. The tool will help users explore design spaces in ways previously impossible, all the while getting feedback on the designs so they can make better informed decisions. Does that sound exciting? What You’ll Do Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure feasibility Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various resources (internal and external) during all project phases Monitor project progress continuously and provide scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using best practices and standard project management documentation Coordinate internal and external resources to execute administrative tasks, such as billings and contract review Communicate proactively with all involved personnel and provide updates, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements Qualifications Proven working experience in project management, especially in the AEC industry Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus Additional Information Outer Labs is a great place to work!
