Position Overview: The UI/UX Designer will be a part of WealthCounsel’s Advertising and Marketing Team. This position will collaborate with cross functional teams to create and maintain consistent, intuitive experiences across all of WealthCounsel’s web properties. Working Conditions: This position is a full-time, salaried, virtual position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Translate business needs and requirements into intuitive and engaging experiences. Create sitemaps, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs. Ability to quickly build low-to-high fidelity user prototypes that demonstrate a range of customer journeys and flows and present to internal teams and key stakeholders. Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, and widgets Build page navigation buttons and search fields Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables) Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness) Plan and execute user experience research with members and potential members. Collect, synthesize, and use data to make design decisions. Create and maintain personas, storyboards, scenarios, interaction/experience flows, design mockups, wireframes, prototype specs, navigation maps, and other design documentation. Participate in design reviews and collaborate with product and development to continue to evolve and maintain style guides and design pattern libraries. Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to optimize UX Required Qualifications: Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role. At least three years experience is preferred. Portfolio of design projects Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision) Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Strong understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS. Responsive web experience is required Bachelor’s degree in Design, Computer Science or relevant field Preferred: Experience with or knowledge of HubSpot or similar marketing automation platform Experience supporting a website with multiple product lines Benefits We value our employees’ time and efforts.
