What You Will Work on

The VP of Marketing will be a key member of the management team, responsible for positioning, messaging, marketing growth, product marketing, community marketing and corporate marketing. This role reports to the company's CEO and is a member of the JobGet management team, the VP of Marketing will:

  • Build (recruit, mentor, coach & develop) a world-class marketing team; set the team up to scale as we expand based on product, go to market, community, and geographic initiatives; enable high caliber, inclusive hiring best practices and world class employee retention.
  • Oversee the leadership for all marketing deliverables, leading all aspects of JobGet's marketing initiatives designed to achieve target metrics, Objectives and Key Results (OKR's) and marketing ROI; drive material and actionable insights for initiative prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Responsible for creating and unifying company branding, messaging, positioning and voice, in deep collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Evolve messaging and positioning from product to solution orientation bridging open source and commercial products, and additional personas as we expand functionality and enter new markets.
  • Responsible for growth, scale and marketplace liquidity in partnership with product management, customer success and sales, enhancing all aspects of the user journey to continually improve user retention, activation, and organic conversion.  
  • Provide marketing leadership and collaborate cross-functionally on go-to-market: creating clear positioning, competitive analysis, customer personas, case studies and sales enablement content.
  • Responsible for expanding and empowering our robust community of users and customers through user groups, virtual and in person events, as well as other initiatives to support and grow our community.

 

Who You Are

  • 10+ years of brand and growth marketing experience (experience in marketplace companies is a plus!).
  • Experience growing a brand from early-stage to strong market presence and significant revenue with international presence.
  • Obsession with products, innovation, marketing, and delivering a best-in-class consumer experience.
  • Ability to blend data, intuition, and creativity to drive business decisions.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Experience with innovative marketing campaigns for new products at young companies.
  • Experience leading high performance marketing teams.
