You will be responsible for global PaaS/SaaS Security Assurance strategy, planning and delivery as the leader of this organization. As a security leader you will manage part of the team responsible for designing, building and/or maintaining and operating innovative security services and solutions that support the needs of our internal and external customers. You'll be responsible for hiring and retaining the best security talent around, growing your team and the people on it, and helping guide the successful execution of the security business plans.RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Partners with other engineering teams and executives to develop short- and long-term security, product and operations strategies.

+ Manage dev-op activities to support large scale cloud services.

+ Collaborate with other teams to solve security problems with minimal disruption to other business functions.

+ Manage the investigation and troubleshooting of security issues to determine root cause and drive solutions.

+ Continuous improvement of policies, procedures and technology

+ Hire, train and assess performance of direct reports according to corporate policies and procedures.

+ Assist in the growth of employees through coaching, training and career development activities.

+ Manage a mixed-specialty team may include software engineers, network and system engineers, as well as "traditional" security engineers.

+ Interact with industry experts, partners, internal staff and auditors

+ Work effectively as part of a geographically distributed team

+ Occasional travel is required (domestic and international)

Required Skills:

+ 8+ years of experience in a leadership capacity

+ 7+ years of experience in Security Assurance

+ Capable of leading and motivating a team of engineers in a challenging, dynamic and global environment.

+ Strong distributed systems and cloud technology knowledge OR application security technology knowledge OR infrastructure security technology knowledge

+ Previously managed a minimum of at least 5 direct reports.

+ Bachelor's in Engineering/Computer Science or related industry (or equivalent experience)

+ Solid hands-on technical background particularly in managing highly complex, multi-platform environments

+ Required for application security roles: Deep knowledge of OWASP top 10, threat modeling, penetration testing, defensive engineering tactics, paas and saas

Desired Skills:

+ Security certifications and/or equivalent work experience

+ Prior understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

+ Experience with multi-tiered mission-critical systems
