Gate 1 Travel, one of the leading travel organizations specializing in international vacation packages, is looking for experienced, enthusiastic, charismatic, and upbeat individuals who have a proven track record of achieving high customer satisfaction.
The Virtual Reservations Agent provides friendly, professional, and detailed support to customers already booked on vacations and to travel agents. Using excellent customer service skills to achieve first call resolution, you'll handle inquiries such as: making modifications; answering questions about trip components, including air, hotels, car rentals and optional tours; assistance with website navigation; and making sure that all aspects of reservations are completed accurately so that customers enjoy a smooth, perfectly organized vacation. This position also acts as overflow support to the Sales department by welcoming callers, answering questions about destinations, and creating new reservations.
Training will be conducted at a facility in the East Valley. Training will occur at this location for approximately 2 weeks, with successful candidates then performing their new functions from the same location for the following 3 weeks to ensure comprehension and to receive in-person support. Attendance at this location is required for this entire period. At the conclusion, candidates will move to working from the comfort of their own home.
