ABOUT THE ROLE:

We're looking for a Vice President of Product to take full responsibility for the success of the existing include.io platform, new, and future product development spanning customer development, design, code, delivery, as well as metrics and revenue goals. This is an amazing opportunity to lead a team that drives everything our members and customers see and use every day. You’ll formulate strategy and implement product changes that drive our goals, and as part of the leadership team, you’ll identify and set those goals. As VP of Product, you’ll report directly to the CEO while taking full control over our product culture and team. You’ll directly manage the existing include.io product team, including hiring new team members, while also managing new products, projects, and cross-functional teams directly.

YOUR DAY TODAY:

• 1 | Team Management | Managing a team of motivated developers and designers; helping them define and execute strong product plans that support the business, giving them clear and actionable feedback, and supporting their career growth.

• 2 | Product Management | Own the technology roadmap and product strategy with a focus on user growth, retention, and user engagement perspective. Translating customer needs into features and then prioritizing those features. You'll be managing the health of the product, planning the future of the platform to meet our business objectives and targets. You will manage internal and external resources to meet those goals and work with designers, developers, and data to get those projects successfully completed.

• 3 | Customer Development & Research | Talking with our members and customers to learn what they want and what is missing in our products, and leveraging a data-driven approach to capturing and measuring their feedback.

• 4 | Product Design | Work with UX, to translate customer needs into features. Plan those features as projects. Design the screens and interaction needed.

• 5 | Brand and Marketing Support | You'll become the go-to expert for detailed information on our product and you’re the guardian of our brand. You’ll support marketing’s effort in clearly communicating our product features and benefits.

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• 4+ years of experience in software product management, with an expertise in building web-based or SaaS products

• Hands-on experience in UX Design and User Research

• Proven success leading a team of high-performing developers

• Empathetic and clear communicator to teammates, stakeholders and our customers

• Process Oriented - You have a well-defined product management process and you can run that process from start to finish – from user research to product roadmaps and prototypes

• Player Coach – You can guide others in their work even better than you can do it yourself

• Close alignment between our business goals and design decisions

• Lots of autonomy, ownership, and creative freedom
