At x.ai, we're building artificial intelligence super-powered efficiency software. The software schedules meetings for our customers automatically, without subjecting them to the typical back and forth over email negotiating when and where to meet someone. We think our product is awesome, and we would like our marketing site to be equally awesome! So we are building the theme from the ground up and we’re looking for an experienced and passionate Wordpress developer to join us on a short term project basis to help bring to life the content and UI/UX designs we are putting in place as we speak.  

Responsibilities:


* Implement all pages on the website based on a set of delivered designs using WordPress as the platform and by building or taking advantage of existing Wordpress themes and/or components

* Collaborate closely with internal team and designer on execution and implementation of designs

* Ensure smooth deploy and high performance for website design implementation

* Implementing and integrating features and functionality, including existing custom plugins

* Ensuring that the website is built with Wordpress best practices





Requirements


* Expert in Wordpress

* Expert-level proficiency with CSS, Javascript, jQuery, JSON via REST APIs, and PHP

* Expert at building responsive websites according to specifications in design files (Sketch, Illustrator, InDesign, Invision, etc)

* Strong understanding of industry trends and cross-browser development

* Code samples and portfolio required
