Role:

Business Technology (BT) Applications is looking for an experienced Workday Product Manager with an extensive background in building scalable and innovative solutions for human resources. This role will join our BT Applications group dedicated to supporting the Employee Success (HR) organization. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in dynamic and high-growth environments and is experienced in managing complex projects in support of an overall HR philosophy and strategy. We are looking for candidates with deep expertise with Workday HCM, Recruiting and Payroll.

Responsibilities:

+ Partner with ES teams to evaluate how to best use Workday technology to meet evolving business requirements and information needs.

+ Provide consultation on Workday best practices and configuration of new features

+ Write functional specifications for new functionality and Workday system changes

+ Work with agile/scrum teams, write user-stories and ensure adherence to Acceptance Criteria

+ Coordinate, plan and lead UAT sessions for business stakeholders

+ Test new/modified applications to ensure applications and results meet end-users needs

+ Support the implementation of change management activities by organizing UAT, authoring communications, creating training materials, and delivering training

+ Ensure solutions promote simplification, accuracy and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users

+ Become an expert in the business process of the customer and play the role of advocate for customer needs

+ Help manage and share information from Workday Community with the BT team and Employee Success teams; This includes logging brainstorms, monitoring release notes and sharing details on webinars.

+ Ensure Workday solutions promote simplification, accuracy and an increasingly higher level of productivity for users.

+ Provide functional support during Workday technology upgrades/implementations and work successfully as a liaison with Employee Success, IT, and other partners

+ Identify opportunities for process optimization, process redesign, or development of new process/policies.

+ Exercise independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Required Skills:

+ Bachelor's Degree, with 5+ years in HR systems or similar function

+ 3+ years Workday configuration and implementation experience for enterprise needs

+ Knowledge of Workday HCM, Recruiting and Payroll

+ Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.

+ Business Analysis skills including requirements gathering and guiding customers from idea to delivery

+ Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks. Demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques required

+ Ability to work with deadlines and in a fast paced environment.

+ Change management skills including communication, testing, training and business system and process transformation

+ Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, able to shift directions quickly when priorities change, think through problems to come up with innovative solutions and deliver against very tight deadlines

+ Confidence and interpersonal skills to achieve effective working relationships at all levels

+ Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences

+ Proactive and forward thinking attitude and creative problem solving ability

+ Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams

+ The ability and desire to contribute to a dynamic, challenging and entertaining work environment with a team of individuals and a company that will support you in doing the best work of your career

+ Experienced working with Agile development methodology

Desired Skills/Experience:

+ Experience with the Salesforce.com platform and related cloud or web based technologies

+ Experience with Use Case modeling

+ Certified Salesforce.com Administrator

+ Knowledge of web applications and custom force.com applications
