The experienced marketing copywriter will work remotely to lead projects across design and marketing whilst integrating closely with the tech team, through their entire project lifecycle.

World Mobile's mission is to create a world where everyone, everywhere is connected. We are doing this by building the first mobile network built on blockchain and the sharing economy to connect the nearly 4 billion unconnected around the world - starting in Africa.

We're looking for a creative, passionate copywriter with keen attention to detail. As a copywriter for World Mobile, you'll write content for all forms of marketing assets including landing pages and emails to ads, campaigns, scripts, and UX copy. This candidate will need to embrace new concepts and think fast. You should be fully committed and dedicated to the World Mobile brand, as we'll be working on groundbreaking projects.

To succeed as a World Mobile copywriter you should have some knowledge and interest in blockchain, crypto, Africa, telecoms, and the sharing economy. Aside from being a good writer, you should be organised, creative, adaptable, and analytical with a passion for the World Mobile mission. You will also need to write in British English.

Copywriter responsibilities:

  • Lead and build the World Mobile brand voice
  • Write ads, scripts, emails, landing pages, website copy, and more
  • Understand the World Mobile mission and see how it fits into every project
  • Collaborate with the Head of Brand, Head of Content, Head of Social, Creative Director, and key stakeholders
  • Self-edit and own your projects 
  • Stay current on industry trends in crypto, telecoms, and blockchain

Copywriter requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Advertising or related field
  • 3+ years copywriting experience
  • Exceptional writing, research, and communication skills
  • Ability to write creative, passionate, and well-informed copy 
  • Good collaboration skills
