Freelance Writer, Editor

IZEA created the modern influencer marketing industry in 2006 when we launched the first technology platform to pay bloggers to create content for brands. Since then, we have grown from a guy with an idea, to a NASDAQ traded company serving the world’s top Marketers and Creators. At the heart of our growing, vibrant company is a diverse family of people that eat, sleep and breathe the creative spirit. We are dreamers, doers and innovators. People that get stuff done and have a blast along the way. Our customers include the world’s biggest brands, agencies, top media organizations and the world’s largest newspaper publisher. Clients include, but are not limited to, Wendy’s, Marriott, NBC, The Home Depot, Kraft, and Petco.

Sign up on our IZEA Zen to freelance on writing and editing. Claiming tasks in the app is a breeze, and you can track your processed payments by week, month and year to stay on top of your earnings. We even offer a handy payment tracker tool to track when you will receive each week’s funds. Content is paid per piece, and the price points vary depending on the client and type of content being produced.

  • We’re looking for creators who: have writing and/or editing experience, are able to follow detailed style guides, and can create content in a variety of voices.
  • It’s a bonus if you: have subject-matter expertise in at least one area (fashion, technology, pet care, etc.), have experience with coding (HTML, JSON, etc.), and love working remotely (pajamas optional).

If this sounds like you, please take a few minutes to register on the IZEA Zen platform at!/signup. There is no need to submit a resume or cover letter for this opportunity. We look forward to working with you on IZEA Zen and thank you in advance for your continued commitment to the craft.
